RUMOR: Next Assassin’s Creed game could be placed in Aztec era

Rumor has it that the new Assassin’s Creed game will be set during the Aztec period in World History.

The rumor was posted on Twitter by Jeremy Penter who did not mince words when he wrote this on his Twitter page:

Next AC game will be Aztecs.

So there’s a ton of grain to take with this as the content creator didn’t really specify who or where he learned this from but let’s put that info in our possible historical periods in our AC book.

Obviously Ubisoft didn’t respond to this rumor but there are rumblings in the gaming community that say that new details could come out soon, probably in the next big gaming convention in the states.

There are a number of different historical periods that this long-running game has featured including the age of piracy, the Industrial Revolution, the American Independence, the Vikings, the Greek history, the Crusades and a whole lot more. And they also love to layer that will a futuristic story between the Templars and Abstergo and the Assassin Brotherhood.
