Real Life Moments which mirrors Eddie Munsen’s epic Power of Rock moment from Stranger Things 4
We all loved that epic Power of Rock moment Eddie Munsen had in Stranger Things 4 where he blasted out Metallica’s Master of Puppets to start the attack on Vecna so lets look at real world/ real life moments that share similarities with this moment.
Netflix probably anticipated that this scene from Stranger Things 4 of Eddie shredding metal in the Upside Down would go viral which is why they were prepared to release this clip online.
Oh and don’t forget they recently turned Glorietta 4 into the Upside Down.
It was honestly a good part, one of the best part of the new seasons. But did you know that there were a lot of moments in real life that share similarities.
This first one though is an inverse of what we saw in the Duffer Brothers series. Did you know that the Gloucestershire airport had been using Tina Turner songs as a way to shoo away birds or a “bird distress signals”. Check the video out HERE.
Another inversion of this was seen in a town in Nevada where they used the “Power of Rock” to stop a cricket invasion with the use of songs by Led Zeppelin and The Rolling Stones.
Check out that story HERE
During the US military’s invasion of Panama to oust Manuel Noriega, psychological warfare specialists blasted rock music at the building he was holed up in, which ran counter to Noriega’s personal taste for opera. One of the songs played was The Clash’s “Should I Stay Or Should I Go?”, the irony being the band opposed U.S. military interventions in Central America. Another, Van Halen’s “Panama”, seems oddly adequate. Noriega eventually surrendered.
