Philippine News Agency retracts story about Lolong crocodile PR stunt
The Philippine News Agency or PNA retracts their story and issues clarification and apology over their story about the giant crocodile that went viral during the weekend which they mistakenly reported as a real crocodile that’s been captured.

A couple of things to unpack here.
- The PR stunt for the Lolong TV series was so good that they were even to make the people or organizations like PNA to believe that it was a legit creature.
- PNR’s team forgot to verify and do their research.
- People forgot to check sources but this could be a teachable moment for everybody.
