Former WWE and current AEW star Jeff Hardy arrested for misdemeanor charges
Former WWE superstar and current member of the AEW roster Jeff Hardy was confirmed to have been arrested due to misdemeanor charges and was later released on bail.
Hardy was arrested in Volusia County, Florida and was slapped with a number of charges including:
- Driving While License Canceled/Suspended/Revoked
- Violation of Restrictions Placed on Drivers License
- DUI Alcohol/Drugs 3rd Offense within 10 Years
Additionally, the DUI charge is considered a 3rd degree felony while the canceled charges are seen as second degree misdemeanor charges.
The original report that appeared online was that he was placed behind bards at the James Foxman Justice Center in Daytona Beach, Florida however later reports came out stating that he has posted bail for $3500 and is scheduled to appear in front of a judge soon.
This has become a problematic thing for the former WWE champion and TNA champion. In fact this was one of the reasons why he was released from his WWE contract some time ago.
The “Charismatic Enigma” finished his no-compete clause and made a dramatic appearance in Tony Khan’s wrestling promotion, All Elite Wrestling saving his brother Matt Hardy from a brutal attack in the ring.
But the wrestling fans quickly made fun at the fact that Hardy aka Brother Nero, did his dance first before running into the ring to make the save.
Funny stuff to be honest.
Anyway, here’s to hoping that Jeff would be able to clear this out and return to in-ring action.
