DC Comics announces Justice Society themed one-shot tie-ins for Black Adam film

DC Comics continues to hype up their upcoming film projects by synergizing with their books like in the case of the upcoming Hawkman book titled Black Adam – The Justice Society Secret Files: Hawkman #1 which also ties in with the upcoming Black Adam movie starring Dwayne Johnson.

The one shot will also feature cover art done by Kaare Andrews.

The book will be writted by Cavan Scott with art by Scot Eaton and inks by Norm Rapmund. Justice Society Secret Files: Hawkman # 1 will also feature a back-up story featuring the character Adrianna Tomaz formerly known by DC readers as Isis before things went to hell with that term.

The Tomaz story will be written by Bryan Q. Miller and ary by Marco Santucci.

In the Black Adam movie, Hawkman will be played by Aldis Hodge while Sarah Shahi will play Adrianna Tomaz who may or may not become Black Adam’s future love interest.

The film will be directed by Jaume Collet-Serra and stars Dwayne Johnson, Noah Centineo, Pierce Brosnan, Sarah Shahi, Aldis Hodge, Quintessa Swindell and more.
