First Look at Obi-Wan Kenobi series coming to Disney+ with a grizzled Ewan McGregor once more
EW has released a few images that serves as our first look at the upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi series coming over to Disney+ soon and yes, we do have Ewan McGregor reprising his role as Luke Skywalker and Anaki Skywalker’s friend and teacher.
These images came from the special “Obi-Wan” cover for Entertainment Weekly whose got first dibs on details surrounding the show which will be set a few years after the ending of Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith.
Check out the cover below.
And check out some of the images that were released online today!
Here’s one with McGregor inside a cave, whether he’s meditating on this cave or is using this as a new base of operations while on Tatooine is yet to be seen. It’s definitely not his place from when we see in in A New Hope. That cave was homey. So maybe this could be a cave he uses for practicing his Jedi training and communicating with The Force.
And then there’s this one…
A quick run through the announced Obi-Wan Kenobi cast reveals that this is Moses Ingram and Joel Edgerton. Ingram looks to be playing an Imperial officer and Edgerton looks like either a bounty hunter or a galactic criminal but I might be wrong.
I’m also interested in seeing the full costume they were trying to hide when production began for this series.
At the very least could we get a trailer for this series already. I’m a little bummed at the amount of hype they did when they released The Book of Boba Fett. Hopefully they use their money for promotion wisely for this series.
