Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 officially announced by creator via special art to commemorate success of Jujutsu Kaisen 0 movie
Fans waiting for the official announcement for a Jujustu Kaisen season 2 should shout for joy because the manga and anime’s creator pretty much confirmed it.
Here’s what Gege Akutami drew as a way of thanking the fans and production for the support they gave the anime film Jujutsu Kaisen 0.
The online announcement also came with a neat surprise as it featured Junya Enoki, Yuji Itadori’s voice actor. It was also Enoki who did the announcement for the new season. During the event staff rolled a box onto the stage and out comes Enoki with a sash with written congratulations for the movie’s success. Pretty much like what Gojo did when he wanted to surprise the first and second year students about Itadori being alive and well.
When Enoki turned his back on the camera you can also see the written announcement for Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 which is scheduled for release around 2023.
Fans in Japan who want to see the whole season will also be getting a treat as the show will be aired there starting April 2022. The first season of the anime was first aired in October 2020 and had a total of 24 episodes. There are also English dubs available for streaming via Crunchyroll. There’s also an English dubbed version of season 1 streaming on Netflix!
No official word yet when in 2023 the second season will come out but hopefully we get to see a trailer or even promotional visuals soon. But maybe lets have them enjoy the fact that the movie made it big. Check out the trailer below…
And don’t forget that Good Smile Company will also be releasing new Jujustu Kaisen 0 Nendoroids and will be on pre-order soon.
