There’s now a petition for Spider-Man: No Way Home to screen in December in the Philippines
After Columbia Pictures’ announcement for the Spider-Man: No Way Home Philippine screening date, Pinoy fans are livid. There’s been a lot of buzz about the film too and the day after, there’s now a petition to move the Spider-Man: No Way Home PH screening to December.
You can check out the petition Here
Here’s what the petition’s creator Lance Chua wrote:
I am writing this, for a VERY SIMPLE REASON, and that is:
As an MCU Fan, I would DEFINITELY LIKE for Spiderman No Way Home to release in PH Cinemas, at the same time the movie releases on other countries, and that is, I believe, on December 17, OF THIS YEAR.
See, with the IMPLICATIONS of this film being SO BIG (in terms of the overall effect of this film in the MCU), if you are to release this film, here in the Philippines, in January of 2022, there will ALREADY BE PLENTY OF SPOILERS, on the internet.
AND, THAT WILL DEFINITELY RUIN THE EXPERIENCE FOR US, especially because, as already mentioned, the IMPLICATIONS OF THIS FILM IS HUGE. This is NOT ‘just’ a standalone film.
So, PLEASE, RELEASE THIS FILM, ON DECEMBER 17, here in the Philippines.
Delay ALL OTHER FILMS for all we care, just NOT Spiderman No Way Home.
I really hope this reaches the powers that be.
Thank you very much!
