Batman, Catwoman and Riddler form the DC Multiverse The Batman Wave from McFarlane Toys

Here’s another something to look forward in line with the release of the new The Batman main trailer from Warner Bros Pictures and DC Comics, we have a nice closer look at the upcoming DC Multiverse The Batman wave which features three of the main characters for the film directed by Matt Reeves!

C’mon lets all admit it, we’ll never get super accurate paint jobs and sculpts from the McFarlane Toys line. They’ve done that in the past but when it comes to movie adaptations of toys, its always hit or miss for them. The Batman figure though looks nice. And they did good by not including an alternate head featuring the likeness of Robert Pattinson who plays Batman/ Bruce Wayne in the new movie!

Then there’s also Selina Kyle aka Catwoman.

It’s so-so for me. Wish we could have seen the unmasked versions of her, Batman and The Riddler.

And speaking of The Riddler, here’s what he looks like from the DC Multiverse. Got nothing much going on. I’m thinking this is the definite pegwarmer for this wave.

Oh and lastly, McFarlane Toys will also be releasing a Batcycle based on The Batman movie.

Reserving judgment for this as this looks mighty neat and I may have other plans for this motorcycle when it comes out. Hopefully it falls on the scale of other figures I have.
