The newly returned Scarlet Witch may not be the current version

The new preview pages for X-Men: The Trial of Magneto # 3 already gave X-Men fans a new clue on what’s happening with the recentl revived Scarlet Witch aka Wanda Maximoff.

So it looks like we will be seeing the real murderer and the culprit behind the murder of Wanda back in the “Hellfire Gala” story arc, which culminated in the final issue of X-Factor could make an appearance soon. Issue # 2 ended with a surprise twist of Wanda making an appearance in front of members of the X-Men, X-Force, X-Factor and the visiting Avengers. In issue # 3 we get to see the events of Wanda and Vision’s passionate kiss.

Pieces of dialogue here reveals that the current version of the Scarlet Witch isn’t up to date with the current happenings in the Marvel universe including the fact that the Vision and her had already broken up years ago and Vizh had fairly recently started a family with which only his daughter’s still alive.

But the question now is who brought her back? It could still be the Magneto and the rest of the Quiet Council because they have the power and authority in Krakoa to do so. But it could also be a solo endeavor of Magneto together with Hope Summers. But it could be someone entirely different and someone who doesn’t want to be seen in the island of Krakoa.
