Thanks to the IMAX version, Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock not in the Spider-Man: No Way Home Trailer
Fans were already salivating at the idea of seeing Netflix Daredevil star Charlie Cox in the big screen as Peter Parker’s lawyer for the upcoming Spider-Man: No Way Home that they were already assuming that this one scene with a lawyer was really Matt Murdock talking to Parker, but it turns out that’s not the case.
Check out the first official Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer below.
So the context here is that Peter Parker’s been arrested by the cops in the third MCU movie after his identity was leaked to the public after Mysterio’s death at the end of Spider-Man: Far From Home. And that’s when things to sideways as the public wants accountability for everything that Peter as Spider-Man has done as well as the doctored footage of Mysterio’s “murder” at the hands of Peter Parker in London. As such, Peter and his friends and family are all under investigation.
And below is a comparison with the IMAX version of the trailer which gives more screen and adjusts the aspect ratio to give us a better look at who Tom Holland’s Peter Parker is talking to.
Spider-Man: No Way Home is directed by Jon Watts and stars Tom Holland, Jacob Batalon, Benedict Cumberbatch, Zendaya, Marisa Tomei, Alfred Molina, Jamie Foxx and more.
