Vlogger Toni Fowler and 30 others fined for violating social distancing protocols after Meet and Greet event
Popular YouTube Vlogger Toni Fowler and 30 other people were fined by the Quezon City authorities after getting caught breaking social distancing protocols and for being part of a mass gathering hosted by the sexy vlogger.
According to ABS-CBN news, the Fowler sisters, Toni and Mari Fowler organized an event in their newly opened store called the Fowler Sisters Online Palengke which also had another branch in Montreal St., Barangay E. Rodriguez sa Cubao, Quezon City.
According to Toni, the invitation for a meet-and-greet was only supposed to be for 50 followers who were able to register and they were not expecting to see so many of their fans flock to their store. The crowd they attracted according to reports that it reached the streets.
Fans who were present at the event stated that they saw the invitation from the vlogger’s Facebook page. They also shared that the two sisters gave away frozen products and gave the fans a chance to take selfies with them. Fowler countered that claim stating that the attendees of their event actually bought P500 worth of products from them then got their pictures taken with them.
It was also due to the influx of people visiting the store that concerned citizens called baranggay officials including people from Quezon City Task Force Disiplina.
The Fowler sisters admits that they had judged poorly on the situation and failed to coordinate with baranggay which was also the reason for the fines for them and several attendees caught by the Task Force Disiplina. In the end, the two vloggers apologized for the fines and promised to pay the fines of those who were caught in violation.
