First official promotional material for Naomi

DC Comics just released a first official promo image for the live series adaptation of Naomi.

The series will be released by The CW and will also be produced by Ava DuVernay. Who recently posted a scene from the pilot. Check out the full image below.

And they actually patterned the image from Naomi’s first book from DC Comics.

The series will star Kaci Walfall as Naomi and will be run by DuVernay and Jill Blankenship. The series is based on the 2019 book written by Brian Michael Bendis and David F. Walker and artist Jamall Campbell.

the show follows a teen girl’s journey from her small northwestern town to the heights of the multiverse. When a supernatural event shakes her hometown to the core, Naomi sets out to uncover its origins, and what she discovers will challenge everything we believe about our heroes.

Series regulars Alexander Wraith, Cranston Johnson and Camila Moreno. Additional cast members include Barry Watson, Mouzam Makkar, Mary-Charles Jones, Aidan Gemme, Daniel Puig and Will Meyers.  Amanda Marsalis directs the pilot
