Siberian Star Wars fan create lifesize Razor Crest from The Mandalorian

Siberian Star Wars fans actually built a life size version of the Razor Crest from the Disney+ series The Mandalorian.

Mr Ayaal Fyodorov with a man wearing a costume of Din Djarin in front of a giant replica of the Razor Crest on March 14, 2021.

The Razor Crest was built and left in a park in Yakutsk in Siberia, Russia. It was patterned after the gunship used by the titular Mandalorian in the series aka Din Djarin (played to perfection by actor Pedro Pascal).

According to Ayaal Fyodorov, this replica Razor Crest took him and his friends three months to build and weighs a tonne. It also stands 4 meters tall and made out of a mashup between fiberboard, metal and plastic foam.

The three friends who built the sci-fi ship were distraught about the ship’s demise in season 2 so they made sure that they built it like in the show. They even added in a bunch of little details like a seat for Grogu aka Baby Yoda and a lowering ramp

Fyodorov estimated the project cost more than 750,000 rubles (S$13,500).He first used his savings, then sold his car, then asked ordinary Russians and companies to pitch in. He is proud of the result.

The Mandalorian is currently available on Disney+. Follow me on twitter at @thefanboyseo.
