Gotham Knights delayed to 2022

Warner Bros games made the announcement today that Gotham Knights has been delayed to 2022.

Publisher Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and developer Warner Bros. Games Montreal did the announcement today citing a need for more time to develop and fix the game.

Gotham Knights will now launch worldwide in 2022. We are giving the game more time to deliver the best possible experience for players. Thank you to our amazing fans for your tremendous support of Gotham Knights. We look forward to showcasing more of the game in the coming months.

I knew this was going to happen. Wern they announced this at DC Fandome I had a bit of apprehension due to the timeframe between the games’ announcement and the release date. It was just too close to each other. Check out the first trailer for this game that was uneviled during the fandome event.

The game will run without Batman who was either killed or was missing which promptly calls the knights to take over as the new operators and vigilantes of Gotham. Nightwing, Batgirl, Robin and Red Hood all have different styles for fighting and moving into the mission so its all a matter of thenplayer’s preference when starting a campaign in the game.
