Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba season 2 announced
Tanjiro and the rest of the Demon Slayer Corps is set to return with the announcement of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba season 2 coming sometime later in 2021!
The manga written by Koyoharu Gotouge will be getting a second season which will also bring back Haruo Sotozaki as director from ufotable. Akira Matsushima will also return to do character design for the series. And most importantly the main cast will also return with some new ones including Katsuyuki Konishi as Tengen Uzui!
The manga came out in February 2016 and ended in May 2020. It was also revealed that Demon Slayer waas also the highest selling manga in 2019, coming second to Eiichiro Oda’s One Piece. The material has generated an anime series which premiered in April 2019 and has streamed in various platform including Netflix, Crunchyroll, Hulu and more.
There was also the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba The Movie: Mugen Train which premiered in October 2020. It has also been reported that it has surpassed Miyazaki’s Spirited Away.
There’s also four Valentine’s Day special shorts called “Kimetsu Gakuen Valentine-hen” (Demon Slayer Academy Valentine Chapter).
