Voltes V Legacy Writer Suzette Doctolero has more things to say to bashers including “gago”
GMA 7’s headwriter Suzette Doctolero has popped up again to share some choice words about the upcoming live action of Voltes V called Voltes V Legacy including calling the show’s bashers “ogag” or “gago”, which shows how impassioned she is with the series they are working on.
Here’s what she posted on her Facebook account.
She’s right though. There’s a LOT of crying and drama in this mecha series. It’s actually filled to the brim with character deaths and conflict. Remember when Doctor Smith died or even when the Armstrong brothers’ mother did a Kamikaze dive on a beast fighter to save her boys? Man. So anyway, she does have a fair point, let’s give this series a try and if its bad, that’s when we can hurl tomatoes. Until then, let’s support the network and the production.
But then again, you can also understand where the fans are coming from. They hyped Zaido to death, (a local adaptation of another classic Tokusatsu series Shaider) and well, we don’t talk about Zaido. We really don’t.

And the 2021 teaser too…
The new one featured more footage including the invading Boazanians, the Volt Machines fighting the invaders and finally doing the classic Volt in.
The live action series has been “licensed by Japan’s own Toei Company, Ltd. through its Philippine-licensor Telesuccess Productions, Inc.” That would also mean that everything must pass the company’s standards and get their approval before it gets released.
