So the trending story for today is the story of new PNP Chief Debold Sinas and his apparent rescue by 3 boats post #UlyssesPH
There were rumors that the newly-installed chief was rescued from the floods and there were whispers too on social media along with screenshots of the conversations and a lone Twitter post link..
Whoever did the conversation was passed by by the rescuers allegedly.
This became quick news and the memes flew fast and wild. Then a Twitter account allegedly belonging to Sinas’ daughter also gained traction due to the content of the tweet which pretty much explains the situation and why it took three boats to rescue them.
She also clarified that the rescue boats/ rafts went back to rescue the stranded residents as part of the evacuation orders for the people living in wherever in Manila Sinas lived in.

Sinas was recently caught in controversy over his “mananita” amidst the COVID-19 Pandemic and the ECQ which prohibited people from doing mass gatherings or face charges or fines. He’s famous on our end though because of his Voltes V cake…
