Altered Carbon Cancelled after Two Seasons, Netflix Gives it “RD” this time
It looks like we won’t be having a third outing for Takeshi Kovacs and the rest of the characters from Altered carbon as it’s been talked about that Netflix has pulled the plug on the series. Yes, that’s right, Altered Carbon cancelled after two seasons is legit.
The first season saw Joel Kinnaman take on the lead role as the envoy Tak while at the same time solving the murder of a very wealthy and influential. In season 2, actor Anthony Mackie takes over the role and continues his search for his lover Quillcrest Falconer while stopping a bloody civil war from happening.
While we could assume that the cancellation was stemmed from the COVID-19 pandemic, Netflix execs are saying it’s really because of the show’s viewership numbers. Deadline also confirms that this was really the case and it was already decided on as early as April.
Aside from the two Altered Carbon seasons on Netflix, there was also an anime series on Netflix called Altered Carbon: Resleeved which was OK.
This would also be the third Netflix series that has been cancelled preceded by The Society and I Am Not OK with This. So what do you think about the news about Altered Carbon
