Sony Announces Spider-Man becoming available for Avengers Game
As part of Spider-Man Day, Sony has revealed that Spider-Man will be an additional playable character for the upcoming Avengers game for the Playstation 4 and eventually Playstation 5.
The announcement was done in the Playstation Blog and confirmed by Crystal Dynamics. The blog post mentioned that they are planning to make Spider-Man a playable character in the upcoming Avengers game for the PS4.
The main Avengers game for the PS4 will have a cool Captain America statue as part of the Collector’s Edition.
The game is interesting to be honest. It’s basically a story where the Avengers play catalyst to a major catastrophe which also causes the public’s opinions go rogue on them. The main plot of the game is getting the team back again after some time after the event known as A-Day; as well as finding the true mastermind behind the event.
Check out the trailer below:
I actually like the drama here with the team (composed of the MCU six) splitting up after the explosive event. And then them banding together again to “avenge” the death of Captain America. Here’s another trailer to get you hopefully hyped.
I can actually see Spider-Man working really doing awesome stuff in this game. Now my only question is whether or not we’ll be getting the Spider-Man PS4 costume or any of the suits that appeared as “canon” in that successful Playstation 4 game. Or maybe we could even get an alternate “skin” featuring Miles Morales, wouldn’t that be cool.
