Hailee Steinfeld No Longer Attached to Disney+ Hawkeye Series
A tweet was all it took to reveal that actress Hailee Steinfeld is no longer in the running to play Clint Barton’s successor Kate Bishop in the Disney+ Hawkeye series.
Derek Cornell from the DisInsider has replied to a tweet about the status of Steinfeld who was originally in the running to play Kate Bishop, a new Hawkeye operating under the tutelage of Jeremy Renner’s Clint Barton.
If only we knew if Hailee Steinfeld would play Kate Bishop.

Bishop has made an appearance in the books as part of the Young Avengers (which is something that Marvel Studios is looking to build with Cassie Lang aka Statue already in the cinematic universe). She was the daughter of a rich businessman who survived her trauma of being abused and vowed to never be vulnerable after the encounter. She has become an important part of Hawkeye’s life and even starred with him in a series written by Matt Fraction with David Aja. And she’s also kickstarted the West Coast Avengers still together with Clint and a bunch of other heroes including Quintin Quire and Gwenpool.
Meanwhile the Disney+ Hakweye series has gathered a bunch of directors who would share the filming for the series including Amber Finlayson and Katie Ellwood, as well as Rhys Thomas.
