Star Wars The Rise of Skywalker Coming to Disney+ on May the 4th
Heads up! Star Wars The Rise of Skywalker is officially coming to Disney+ starting “Star Wars Day” or May the 4th.
The film was directed J.J. Abrams and stars Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Carrie Fisher, Harrison Ford, Kelly Marie Tran and more. It’s also the nine installment in the Skywalker saga which started in 1977’s Star Wars: A New Hope.

According to reports, the final installment will start streaming on Disney+ on May 4th, now traditionally celebrated by fans and geeks alike as Star Wars Day. It will join other Star Wars related content on the streaming platform including The Mandalorian, Star Wars: Clone Wars and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
In addition to the release of “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker” on May 4, the streaming company will also reveal a “commemorative gallery” with artwork from the various films and television series made about the “Star Wars” universe. Among the artists whose work will be highlighted include Ralph McQuarrie, who worked on the original “Star Wars” trilogy, and Doug Chiang, the executive creative director of Lucasfilm.
