TikTok announces Family Pairing, Banning Users under 16 to use DMs
TikTok recently announced a new function called Family Pairing which aims to lock out users under 16 to use the DM or direct message.
This would be the first social media platform that will actually protect minors from exposure to potential threats including sexual predators and other unsavory elements.
With this new set up, users won’t be able to communicate via DMs especially if the user is a minor or below 16 years old.
