New Mutants star Anya Taylor-Joy could join planned Mad Max Furiousa Solo Film

Variety reports that New Mutants star Anya Taylor-Joy could be signed to join the George Miller-directed Mad Max Fury Road spin off film starring Charlize Theron’s Imperator Furiousa.

Miller is reportedly aiming to begin filming Mad Max: Furiosa in 2021, and has previously said the script has been complete since at least 2011.

Taylor-Joy met with Miller via Skype according to Variety, due to the effects of the coronavirus pandemic.

Here’s to hoping we get to see more of Anya Taylor-Joy join this spin off movie and here’s to seeing more of Furiousa herself kicking ass in the 2021 film. Also, let’s all keep our fingers crossed that Marvel continues to release New Mutants which is the movie featuring the next generation of mutants who would go to school in Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters!
