Is There a Birds of Prey Post-Credit Scene?
So now that Birds of Prey is finally out in theaters, we want to talk about the more pressing matter. Is there a Birds of Prey Post-credit scene?
Now before I go and answer that, let me just promote my Birds of Prey review. Gave the film 8/10 and I thought it was a good comic book movie. It’s a good departure from Margot Robbie’s last outing as Harley Quinn in David Ayer’s Suicide Squad and sets the tone for future Batman/BOP stories and movies that WB and DC Comics could develop.
That being said, let’s go right back and answer the question – Is There a Birds of Prey Post-Credit Scene?
The answer is a YES and a NO.
So before we get to that, SPOILER ALERT.
Ok, so yes, there is something to look forward to at the end of the credits of BOP, after the final moments of the credits, you get to hear Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn show her appreciation to the audience via a fourth wall break, and then she proceeds to tell a story about an encounter with Batman.
However, as part of a major trolling, that story gets cut out mid-sentence. So we never really get to hear Harley finish the story. It was just the opening. And unlike Shazam with a real nice teaser at the end, this one just ends that way.
It could be that they really had no plans of a sequel or that they want to play it safe. You know what it reminds me of? The post-credit scene from Spider-Man: Homecoming featuring Chris Evans as Captain America…
