Suicide Squad director David Ayer Shares Look at Alternate Harley Quinn Costume with Margot Robbie

Riding on the current hype for Warner’s upcoming film Birds of Prey, “Suicide Squad” director David Ayer shared an alternate costume for Harley Quinn, as worn by actress Margot Robbie.

Its a far cry from the now iconic costume that Harley wore during her first mission with the Suicide Squad together with Deadshot (Will Smith), Captain Boomerang (Jai Courtney), Katana (Karen Fukuhara), Rick Flagg (Joel Kinnaman) and more. The whole “daddy’s little monster’ shirt created a big thing for Halloween the year Suicide Squad appeared onscreen.

It even had a few fans do the costume including Arci Munoz and cosplayer Lady Beard

And then there’s a whole lot of different looks that have popped out since then but we gotta share some love for the SS version of Harley.

For 2020 we also get to see James Gunn’s directorial debut for the DC Universe with his “soft reboot” called “The Suicide Squad” with returning cast like Viola Davis, Jai Courtney plus newcomers like Idris Elba and John Cena.
