Shazam Family Finds Seventh Member

It looks like DC Comics’ Shazam Family formerly the Captain Marvel family have grown once more with the introduction of the seventh member.

So it looks like the family has found the seventh champion and it’s actually none other than Billy Batson’s father CC Batson. CC Batson made an appearance in issue # 6 where he shows up at Billy’s foster home with the hopes of connecting with his son.

However Billy is a little distracted from focusing on his father because his brothers and sister have been displaced throughout the Magic Lands. It’s up to him and Mary Marvel to get their siblings back before everything goes wrong.

Meanwhile, Black Adam has teamed up with Sivana and Mr Mind to get their ultimate wish. Both Mr Mind and Sivana have also shown greatly improved magical powers; even besting Black Adam. Oh and Mind also now has control of seven deadly sins.

The combined forces of Black Adam and the sins attack CC Batson in the hopes of luring the Shazam family to a fight.

Billy reveals himself to be Shazam but their reunion is short-lived because CC gets grabbed by the sins.

The wizard reminds Shazam that he can share his power with whoever he deems worthy and in the moment of danger, Billy Batson decided to give the power to his dad.

Before they can fight though, the wizard whisks Billy, Mary and CC to Wozderland to reunite with the rest of the Shazam family and he is given a decision to make whether he continues to empower his brothers and sisters or share his power with his father. Billy makes a choice and decides to share the power with his father and siblings.

And this completes the seven champions for the seven kingdoms.
