WWE’s Sheamus in Manila Media Meet and Greet
Was recently invited to cover a special media Meet & Greet with WWE Superstar and former WWE Heavyweight champion Sheamus which was held at Skinny Mike’s Sports Bar in Bonifacio Global City.
Man the crowd was wild. Sheamus may not be in the active roster for now and he’s also busy with hid own Youtube channel but you’d be surprise with the number of people who turned up last friday to see the “Celtic Warrior”.

Now there’s a lot of interesting questions that were raised during the event but for me, the most important one is the so-called “elephant in the room”, is he officially retired from wrestling? The former Heavyweight champion was candid about the situation as possible.
Apparently he’s not yet given the go signal to work on the ring again. He wasn’t clear whether it was medical in naturenor had something to do with the company. I mean Vince McMahon has always been known to be a micromanager, so for the big man, he’s still unsure how WWE wants to use him.
He was also particularly fond of the Liverpool FC and was quite pleased when he saw one fan ask a question wearing the Liverpool FC colors.
Of course the main push here is he’s helping out to promote the upcoming WWE event, the WWE Live in Manila which happens September 20, 2019.
