DCeased # 1 Spoilers – Who Was Patient Zero?

I have to admit this project piqued me. The thought of undead DC heroes and villains and a few survivors trying to find safe haven is such a good and interesting read. So let’s rethread a bit before the release of issue 2 with some DCeased # 1 spoilers.

So what happens here is that Darkseid faces defeat from the Justice League and swears not to return…

This attack was only a ruse though as Darkseid had another goal in mind. And it’s something Batman picks up the moment the big guy boom tube’s out of Earth.

So what happened to Cyborg? Apparently, while the League was busy fighting Darkseid, somebody kidnapped Cyborg and brought him to Apokolips, to Desaad, specifically.

He was kidnapped because Darkseid found out that his Mother Box has the other half of the Anti-Life equation and now Darkseid wants to combine the two halves and control the universe.

Unfortunately for him, that won’t be easy because of all the tech that’s inside Vic Stone aka Cyborg. So Darkseid summons his favorite minion, the Black Racer and uses his connection to death to make things easier for him.

The combination doesn’t work as expected and backfires. This new version of the anti-life equation drives Darkseid crazy… He got so crazy that he eventually blew up Apokolips.

But not before Desaad sends Cyborg back to Earth…

On Earth, Cyborg immediately goes online and passes alone the Anti-Life Equation through social media and electronics, makes the world go crazy and zombie-like too.

So there you go. Major DCeased # 1 Spoilers. Be sure to pick up the book when it comes out though.
