Katherine Langford Avengers: Endgame Role Revealed

If you ever wondered whatever happened to 13 Reasons Why star Katherine Langford’s role in Avengers: Endgame, you’ll be happy to know that the Russo Brothers have revealed it already.

According to Comicbook.com and from the Russo Brothers themselves, the Katherine Langford Avengers: Endgame role was that of an older Morgan Stark, Toby Stark and Pepper Potts’ daughter as seen in the nee film.

During a recent chat on the Happy Sat Confused podcast, Anthony and Joe Russo opened up about the reports surrounding Langford’s role. It turns the actress was meant to play an older version of Morgan Stark, Iron Man’s daughter.

The Russos added:

We showed it to a test audience, and it was really confusing,” the brothers continued. “What we realized about it was we didn’t feel an emotional association with the adult version of his daughter. It wasn’t resonating with us on an emotional level which is why we moved away with it.

This mirrors the ending of Infinity War where Thanos meets the younger version of Gamora in Soulworld after doing “The Snap”.

I would have loved to see the this scene unfold because (a) its a nest bookend to the movie, (b) it provides symetry with Infinity War (c) helps support the idea of alternate timelines.
