Gotham Casts Actress Lili Simmons as Future Catwoman, Camren Bicondova Drops Out for Finale
Gotham is in its last legs and we are about to see the future where Bruce Wayne has become the Batman and the defender of Gotham City. So expect a massive flash forward to this FOX series. Unfortunately we won’t have mainstay Camren Bicondova playing Selina Kyle / Catwoman in the future. Instead, we have actress Lili Simmons to play the part of Batman’s main squeeze.
You can check out Simmons as Selina Kyle in the two official photos released by Gotham for Entertainment Weekly.
The first photo from EW shows Selina Kyle holding Edward Nygma aka The Riddler hostage with a gun to his head. She looks fabulous while Riddler still looks tacky with his green suit filled with question marks.
The photo below shows her still in the same party, still with a gun but this time talking to series main star Jim Gordon play by Ben McKenzie.
As I mentioned earlier, if you’re looking for Camren, you won’t find her in the finale because she dropped the position around the same time they were preparing to film the scenes for the finale. She wrote a lengthy message to her fans explaining her reasons for dropping and shooting down rumors that she was sacked from the role.
Here’s what she posted on her Twitter account:

Here’s the synopsis to the finale of Gotham:
The series flash-forwards 10 years into the future, as Bruce is set to return to Gotham for the opening of the new Wayne Tower. A series of crimes leads Gordon to believe Penguin and The Riddler are up to their old tricks. However, when Bullock is framed for a murder, Gordon begins to piece together an even more sinister plot targeting the city, and a new figure emerges from the shadows to be the hero Gotham desperately needs in the all-new ‘The Beginning…’ series finale episode of Gotham.
