Stan Lee’s Cause of Death has been Revealed
Comic book icon Stan Lee is still badly missed in this website and other websites and now a few sources have revealed the cause of the former Marvel Editor-in-Chief’s death.
TMZ has apparently obtained Lee’s death certificate which reveals that the writer’s cause of death was cardiac arrest with respiratory failure and congestive heart failure. There’s also a note on the certificate for “aspiration pneumonia”. This means that the pneumonia played a significant role in his death.
To add more context to this case, several sources state that Pulmonary aspiration is cause when a person inhales stomach acid, saliva or even food into the lungs.
If you can remember, Lee also battled health issues throughout 2018. He was hospitalized for shortness of breath and irregular heartbeat in January. In February he suffered from pneumonia. Remember, he was even slated to fly here in Manila for Comic Con Asia but it was inevitably cancelled due to health issues.
According to the death certificate, Lee was pronounced dead at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, on Monday, Nov. 12, at 9:17 a.m. He was 95. Lee was cremated and his ashes returned to his daughter, J.C. Lee.
