The Moffatts Reunite for Concert in the PH, talk about “that” urban legend
Midas Productions is bringing back 90s Pop band The Moffatts for a special reunion concert and this time it’s the complete group. We sat down with them for a Q&A and me and the other media had a fun afternoon. They even candidly talk about that urban legend we all kinda believed back then.
The concert will be held on November 30 at the New Frontier Theater in Cubao, formerly Kia Theater.
The band promised to showcase all their classic songs and a few new ones as well.
In fact they even performed one of their songs. You can give a listen below. Please subscribe to my channel as well while you’re at it.
The group laughed at the urban legend that they perished after a concert abroad. They are also aware of that urban legend. They explained that after that concert, which they believe was in the Philippines, they kinda dropped off the radar. That’s when they unofficially broke up.
They were pretty much alive and did their own thing until only recently when they started touring once more.
We also asked the Moffatts what they had in their current playlist or what they listened too with most of them in agreement on Justin Bieber’s “What Do You Mean”.
When asked if they were open to the idea of having their songs turned into plays, they never thought about it but they are open to the idea.
The press conference ended with a short meet and greet and photo op with the media present.
