Telltale Games is Closing
After years of providing awesome games for multiplatform titles and having great licenses, Telltale Games is closing.
The announcement was shared on the developer’s Facebook page. According to the post, they fired most of the employees today with 25 staying onboard to finish up on deliverables for partners and board members.
Telltale Games is a video game company who rose to stardom with the release of The Walking Dead season 1 back in 2012.
Other titles under Telltale Games include Batman, Minecraft, Guardians of the Galaxy and Fables. They also are planning to do a Stranger Things game and a final season of TWD but the closure looks to permanently end.
The developers have laid off several employees in 2017. And that was already a red flag but it was called a restucturing.
This really feels like bad news.
