Marvel Commemorates the Death of Cable with X-Men: The Exterminated One Shot
Cable was one of the two casualties in Exterminated # 1 and Marvel aims to commemorate the life and times of the time traveling mutant with a special one shot called X-Men:The Exterminated # 1.
The issue will be written by Cable writer Zac Thompson and Lonnie Nadler. It will also have a special back-up story by Chris Claremont and a cover by Geoff Shaw as seen above.
X-Men: The Exterminated will deal with the fallout from the event, and Cable’s death. In the story, Cable’s adopted daughter Hope Summers is attempting to deal with her loss – but a dark and terrifying path beckons her, and the X-Men’s own Jean Grey may be her only hope for survival.
