Jameson Blake Gets Flak on Twitter over “Free” Graphic Design

Hashtag Jameson Blake, who starred in So Connected, found himself being called out on Twitter over getting the services of a Graphic Designer for free.

After posting the call on his Twitter account, people started replying about how the only payment received would be a shout out somewhere at some point in time.

The replies came fast and scalding too.

You can’t blame the guy for asking such but at this point in time, asking for things like this, should require some form of recompense. That’s what the people on Twitter were pointing out. Your “shout out” is good but we need cash.

Another good point as seen above, the actor has budget for freelance graphic artists, why get it for free?

I’ve got no dog in this fight but I feel like I have to side with the people who commented on Twitter. Nothing’s free anymore especially if one will require talents and skills.

This by the way is a continuing thread. It’s getting traction not only on Twitter where it originall came from but also on Facebook.
