Wolverine “Post Credit” Scene in Avengers # 680

Kinda dry issue of Avengers this week with Avengers: No Surrender still running at full speed. What’s interesting though is that this issue written by Mark Waid, Jim Zub and Al Ewing with art by Pepe Larraz has a “post credit” scene featuring Wolverine.

In the aftermath of everything that happened in Avengers: No Surrender, with that tease of the resurrection of a dead founding member, we find Wolverine in Peru…

Peru was the site of the last battle between the Black Order and the Lethal Legion as well as the Avengers who were just trying to stop them.

Also interesting to note is that Wolverine’s colored blue in the four panels he appears in. We see him seem rather apathetic about the whole damage and destruction. So its either his mission’s way to important or he wants to go low key for a bit especially since he’s currently handling an Infinity Stone.

What’s his purpose? Maybe we’ll find out soon with the “Hunt for Wolverine” storyline taking full effect.
