Square Enix announces Starwing Paradox
Square Enix has announced a new game called Starwing Paradox which they described as a “high-speed competitive mecha action” game.
The game will be released first in Japan as an arcade game with the capability to connect up to 16 players online.
Reports are coming it that the game would be handled by Sunrise including Sunrise producer Naohiro Ogata (Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn). Neon Genesis Evangelion’s character designer Yoshiyuki Sadamoto will still be doing character designs…
The mechas will be designed by Ippei Gyoubu of Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans as well as Xenogears designer Jun’ya Ishigaki.
The game will combine high-quality animation with high-speed mecha action for a maximum of eight-versus-eight online battles. The arcade unit itself will provide a realistic robot piloting experience by moving based on your in-game movements.
Starwing Paradox will be playable for the first time at Japan Amusement Expo 2018 from February 9 to 11 at the Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan.
