Microsoft Temporarily Stops Accepting Bitcoin
Microsoft is currently suspending the acceptance of the cryptocurrency Bitcoin for transactions.
According to a report, Microsoft wanted to temporarily suspend the use of Bitcoin within their network because of the cryptocurrency’s volatility and unpredictability for its prices.
This isn’t the first time Microsoft has suspended the use of Bitcoin. They have done this a few times in the past including one time in 2014.
Interestingly enough, Microsoft isnt the only company to have called it quits with Bitcoin. Gaming company Steam had also stopped doing business using Bitcoin starting December 2017 citing problems with volatility and steep transaction fees which ends up hurting the customer.
