Dark Nights: Metal # 3 Spoilers – Superman and the League Getting Armors?

This could be a potential Dark Nights: Metal # 3 spoiler so thread carefully.

DC Comics recently shared covers for Dark Nights: Metal # 3 including one variant cover done by David Finch. The cover depicts Superman and fellow Justice League teammate Cyborg wearing armor.

While its not solid proof, at this point in the story, they would need armor to battle Barbatos and his Dark Knights, the squad of evil Batman from the Dark Universe.

Another question if these armors would actually appear in Scott Snyder’s story is who made these armors for the League? Obviously Batman didn’t build these as he disappeared after issue 2.
