Hemlock Grove’s Penelope Mitchell as Ganeida the Witch for Hellboy Reboot

So while the upcoming Hellboy reboot movie lost Ed Skrein due to whitewashing issues, the movie will be getting Hemlock Grove’s Penelope Mitchell as a new character.

Hemlock Grove’s Mitchell has been cast for a small role where she plays Ganeida the Witch. She’s described as “an elder witch who has decided that Nimue’s [The Blood Queen] wrath has gone on for too long and must be stopped.”

The 26-year old Australian actress has made an appearance in various media including the aforementioned Hemlock Grove as well as Zipper and Curve.

Hellboy is set to commence shooting soon and is scheduled for a 2018 release.
