Luke Skywalker and Friends Set to Visit Jedha
As Jason Aaron departs from Marvel’s main Star Wars book and Kieron Gillen takes over, expect Luke Skywalker to go on new adventures in new places. First stop? Rogue One’s Jedha.
A synopsis of sorts for Star Wars # 38 reveals where the gang is headed.
First up: the post-apocalyptic hell that remains of Jedha after the Death Star punched a hole through its mantle.
Gillen and Salvador Larroca will bring Luke Skywalker to Jedha and make it canon before the events of Empire Strikes Back too, making our young Skywalker naive to the ways of the Force and not entirely a jedi yet.
Here’s the cover to Star Wars # 38.
Gillen adds:
Luke is desperately seeking the Force and of course, it’s one of the holiest cities in the universe, and it’s been blown up. The key image is Luke standing in the hole where the Death Star blew it.
