At Disney’s D23 celebration, fans were given the first shot at seeing the first trailer for A Wrinkle in Time which stars Chris Pine, Zach Galifianakis, Mindy Kaling and Oprah Winfrey just to name a few.

The film is based on the book of the same title written by Madeleine L’Engle. It was first published in 1963 and then re-published again in 1979 featuring artworks by Leo and Diane Dillon. The live action movie on the other hand is directed by Ava DuVernay (Selma, 13th).

I lol’ed when I saw Oprah here. Why is it only now that they’re giving her “fairy godmother” or “omnipotent elder lady” roles when she could have owned that genre years ago?!
