Doctor Doom Apologizes to Ben Grimm [Infamous Iron Man # 7]

One of the recent issues of Infamous Iron Man (Infamous Iron Man # 7 to be exact) kinda put some closure to the whole rift between Ben Grimm aka The Thing of the Fantastic Four and Doctor Doom. Operating word though is kinda.

In this issue we find out that Doom now running around the Marvel Universe in an amalgamation between Tony Stark’s armor and his own armor and dealing with problems he either was involved or started in the past.

One of the things he did was take out the collection of supervillains that The Hood organized way back during Brian Michael Bendis’ run on New Avengers.

Unfortunately for him, Ben Grimm is also involved in the investigation as he is now officially an agent of SHIELD.

The dude gets the surprise of his life when he sees Doom’s armor in his room with Doom already having dinner.

Best moment for this issue of Infamous Iron Man is when Victor Von Doom apologizes for everything he has done all the way from when they were in college.

Its also the first time in a year or so since somebody spoke about Reed Richards and Sue Storm Richards.

So while I kinda hate Bendis with what he did with the X-Men, he has my kudos for the writing here in Infamous Iron Man.

Great job too giving Ben Grimm a supporting role. If they will be bringing back Reed and the rest of the Richards clan I’m also hoping that this book serves as the gateway.
