Toy Fair 2017: DC Icons Super Sons, Supergirl, Death of Superman and Nightwing

DC Collectibles joins Toy Fair 2017 preview night with a look at some must-have figures to be released within the year and they’ve even threw in a new Nightwing figure as well as DC Icons Super Sons twinpack!!!

True they’ve tackled Death of Superman in past action figure lines but this is the first time that they actually put in more accessories and head sculpt for the Man of Steel. Plus that wrecked cape-turned-flag is an added bonus.

As we mentioned earlier, we got ourselves an updated Nightwing figure under DC Icons and it looks nice. Its like DC Collectibles is telling us that they’ve got more Titans related stuff coming out soon and Dick Grayson is just the opening salvo.

I was mistaken earlier when I saw the DC Icons Supergirl, mistaking it for a CW Supergirl figure with the likeness of actress Melissa Benoist. This is actually from the DC Rebirth version of the Maid of Steel.

Lastly (and I’m really excited for this) we have the DC Icons Super Sons twin-pack featuring Superboy Jonathan Kent and Damian Wayne as Robin.

Really? Should I even tell you why I’m excited for this particular figures? Its the sons of the World’s Finest. That’s all you need to know. Robin having several hands to use is also a welcome treat.
