More Magazine Scans for Uchuu Sentai Kyuranger

So while we’re kinda still enjoying Zyuohger, we’re admittedly pretty excited to see the next Super Sentai series, Uchuu Sentai Kyuranger when it begins airing next year. Here’s a look at the aforementioned scans and some quick details you need to know about the 41st Super Sentai team.

It’s going to be based in space and will use the Constellations or the 12 astrological signs as motif. Much like how ToQger was about trains and Kyoryuger was all about Dinosaurs/ Batteries, this series would be about zodiacs mostly.

The series is anticipated not just in Japan but also abroad because it breaks the mold in terms of the number of characters in the series. So far by our count the biggest number of team members prior to Kyuranger would be Kyoryuger with 10 members (11 if you count Tobaspino dude/dudette).

Kyuranger will be set in the distant future where the evil organization known as ‘Jack Matter’ has taken over. To fight this oppression Kyutama selects the warriors that will eventually be the Kyurangers to fight the big bads.

The story takes place in the distant future after the universe has been dominated by the evil Jack Matter organization. The Kyuranger are warriors chosen by the Kyutama to transform, with each member representing a different constellation.

There are two types of members in the team, the human types, composed of ShishiRed/Lucky, ScorpionOrange/Stinger, HebitsukaiSilver/Naga Ray, ChameleonGreen/Hammy, and KajikiYellow/Spada. The second group of members are fully alien, composed of OkamiBlue/Garu, the mechanical TenbinGold/Balance, OushiBlack/Champ, and the eagle android WashiPink/Rapter283.
