BlizzCon – Diablo II’s Necromancer Returns in Diablo III

Holy exploding corpses! The Necromancer has been annouced as a returning character for Diablo III in a new expansion pack! 

We’ve seen a lot of rumors but now we can finally close this case as Blizzard has confirmed that the Necromancer will be returning for Diablo III. 

They even had a video ready for Rise of the Necromancer.

Additional details have been released. So far we know that ‘Rise’ will also feature these things:

In addition to unlocking the Necromancer as a playable character, players will also receive an in-game pet, two additional character slots, two additional stash tabs (on PC), a portrait frame, pennant, banner, and banner sigil.
