What is Gone Goose?

Mig.me’s Gone Goose is a match-3 game featuring cutesy characters led by the titular Goose named Gerald. The story goes that Gerald and his friends get stranded in a jungle after an pit stop in parts unknown. Now Gerald and his farm friends need to work together to find a way out of that damned jungle. This is done by creating combos, blast bombs and lots more.

It’s currently available via the Google Play Store for Android phones.

How To Play Gone Goose

Gone Goose follows the same trends of other match-3 like Candy Crush. That’s how you can fit it into your frame of reference. So you don’t even have to scratch your head into how its done. It actually took me just a minute to understand everything and so will you.

So matching 3 animals will give you a score, with multipliers popping in and out from time to time. There are also bombs that can destroy chunks in the board from time to time. Just use these bombs wisely as it could either make or break your game.

Eccentricities and Finer Things

One of the more engaging aspects of Gone Goose is the leaderboard that gets integrated into Mig.me’s system. Sure you actually don’t win anything from being on top of the leaderboards but it certainly tells other gamers and account holders that you are not to be messed with when it comes to game.

Connecting your score via Social Media also helps attract more players to the game which in turn lets the chance of getting bigger in-game stuff double in value. Remember, the bigger the number of players for an game linked to a social media app, the better rewards players get.

Points to Improve on

As it stands right now, Gone Goose is an “OK” game. It bridges the interactivity gap between your Mig.me account together with your mobile app. The game currently gives you a few tips to really bring your A-Game and to dominate competitors. But it could use a few tweaks here and there to make it look eye-popping.

Still you have to admire the simplicity and the sheer level of competitiveness in Gone Goose. Plus it gives something to the growing Mig.me community.

Things that Don’t Need Changing

I have to give Gone Goose credit for making the tutorial as simple as possible. In two pages, they give us everything we need (as I’ve written earlier, not that the gameplay mechanics is hard to follow as it is). Still, good job on keeping everything simple as possible.

I’ve played a lot of games with varying ranges of Daily Login Bonuses. Some were OK while others were, should we say, absurb. For Gone Goose, its’ in the “Ok” range. Nothing fancy but it’ll definitely help especially if you’re considering conquering the leaderboards.

A-

I’m giving Mig.me’s Gone Goose an A minus not for the game, the mechanics or other intricacies but rather because I had a tough start with the game when I booted it. But a reinstall later and it was smooth sailing.
