Brad Pitt and Marion Cotillard find love in a time of war in the new trailer for Robert Zemeckis’ new film Allied. Opens November 23 from Paramount Pictures and Columbia Pictures,

Brad Pitt plays Max Vatan and Marion Cotillard plays Marianne Beausejour in Allied from Paramount Pictures.

“Allied” is the story of intelligence officer Max Vatan (Pitt), who in 1942 North Africa encounters French Resistance fighter Marianne Beausejour (Cotillard) on a deadly mission behind enemy lines. Reunited in London, their relationship is threatened by the extreme pressures of the war. Will the characters portrayed by Brad Pitt and Marion Cotillard make it in the end or are they destined to be apart for the rest of their lives?

Written by Steven Knight (“Eastern Promises,” “Locke”), the film also stars Lizzy Kaplan and Matthew Goode.
