Ultraman Ginga S The Movie to be Screened for the SM Family Movie Day in September

Heads up Ultrama fans! SM Cinemas will be doing a special screening of the Japanese sci-fi film Ultraman Ginga S The Movie on September 10 and 11 at select SM cinemas in Metro Manila.

Ultraman Ginga S The Movie is a collaboration between Shochiku and Tsuburaya Productions, both of whom are renowned special effects studios based in Japan. The movie itself is based on the television series of the same name and features Ultraman Ginga and Ultraman Victory. Together the two can also form Ultraman Ginga Victory and fights side by side with their “New Generation” brothers – Ultraman Tiga, Ultraman Dyna, Ultraman Gaia, Ultraman Cosmos, Ultraman Nexus, Ultraman Max, Ultraman Meebius and Ultraman Zero against an inter-dimensional threat.

In the film, an evil space warrior named Etelgar coerces the alien princess Alena to trap all the Ultramen in the galaxy. To save these powerful galactic warriors, two brave men, Hikaru and Shou, must transform into Ultraman Ginga and Ultraman Victory respectively.

‘Ginga S the Movie’ stars Takuya Negishi as Hikaru Raidu, a young member of a special investigation team in who transforms into Ultraman Ginga.  Playing the Ultraman Victory is actor Kiyotaka Uji who plays Shou – a prince of the underground Victorian civilization.
